I've moved the site to a new server after a errrr short absence from the Internet. A couple of hours mucking around. Sigh.

Hi there, well I think this new website is just about ready for public viewing!

I put this site together for a few reasons. I'm a huge fan of Roger Zelazny's writing and his Amber series. I also wanted to test out some genealogy software phpgedview and see how it plots out fairly complicated family trees. The royal house of Amber is certainly complicated with Oberon's many wives and children ‎(and ?? illegitemates)‎ :-) And I wanted to do some PHP programming because I haven't done much before.

I'd like to acknowledge the artistry of Todd Hamilton whose trump images feature prominantly. He has one of the most comprehensive and stylistic collections of trumps, and of the other Amber fans around the net whose sites have inspired mine. Particularly Cal Westray's site and Farmer Scrub's site zelazny.corrupt.net

This site is a work in progress of course. If you feel like expanding the collection of characters please join up for an account and start entering in details. Zelazny created a rich universe for us to play in and I don't have a problem with expanding it as long as in doing so we don't actually contradict Mr Zelazny's telling of the tales of Amber, Chaos and shadow. I'd particularly like to expand the family trees of the Courts of Chaos.
